Awesome wedding venue! As an event vendor, it is a pleasure to work at Vernonia Springs – it features a great in-house covered bar, the staff is super helpful and the entire campus is gorgeous. Highly recommend for weddings and events!

Being able to linger and relax in the natural and peaceful surroundings as the sun went down really capped off the day. We had a great time, I highly recommend Vernonia Springs for your outdoor events.

This is the perfect, intimate wedding space. It blends all of the natural beauty of Oregon with the simplicity and comfort that we wanted for our wedding day. It was by far the easiest choice within all of our planning!

The property was absolutely stunning and was a great spot for us to start our future together. The owner was very kind and thoughtful, they did everything they could to make it an easy transition for us.

Vernonia Springs
54658 Nehalem Hwy S.
Vernonia, Oregon 97064
From Portland or Cannon Beach – Take the Vernonia turnoff from Hwy 26 (Sunset Hwy) onto Nehalem Hwy S. (also known as Hwy 47 S.). Vernonia Springs is 8.4 miles from the Hwy 26 turnoff. Once you see the “Welcome to Columbia County” sign we are ½ mile up on the right in the middle of the left-hand turn. You will see our large “Vernonia Springs” sign just before our driveway. If you reach McDonald Rd, you have gone a ¼ mile too far … turnaround and come back. GPS may give varied results. Please park in the designated parking area next to the handicap parking signs.
What is the weather like?
The weather here is comparable to the Willamette Valley and enjoys a Mediterranean summer, with nights being significantly cooler. So even on a very hot day, it will normally cool down to the low 60’s by mid-evening. You can expect the day’s high to be around 5-10 degrees cooler than the Willamette Valley.
What months is Vernonia Springs open?
Since we are an outdoor weddomg venue, we host events from mid-May through mid-October and are closed for events the remainder of the year.
Is there a noise ordinance?
Like most other counties in Oregon, Columbia County has a 10:00 PM noise ordinance. Because of this, all music must be turned off at 10:00 p.m.
Is there a backup plan for weather?
For those occasional days that might experience a shower or two, the ceremony can be held under the covered log pavilion. In hot weather, ceiling fans in the pavilion keep guests cool.
