Exciting news. The Salmonberry Trail has received approval to begin moving forward!  Now the fundraising stage begins.  I have had the pleasure of taking a tour of the valley segment and can tell you this trail will be a game changer. Vernonia Springs is just four miles down the Banks-Vernonia State Trail from where you will catch the Salmonberry Trail to the coast. Imagine being able to ride a bike from Banks to the Pacific Ocean … 84 miles!  This trail will become a legitimate international destination.
