Leave the hustle and bustle of the city behind!  Vernonia Springs is a 28-acre gated forestland private park located at the base of the Oregon coast range.  Vernonia Springs is the perfect wedding venue for couples who are seeking a peaceful nature-based overnight destination wedding venue.  Please watch our Wedding Venue Video Tour here.  Enjoy exclusive use of the park for your glamping wedding weekend!

Luxury glamping accommodations mean you get all of the comforts of home, while being able to stargaze through your yurt moonroof at night.  The ultra-clean yurts and platform tents include queen beds, linens, comforter, blanket, pillows, towels, heat (yurts only), lights, power, and broadband WiFi.  Each yurt and platform tent is strategically placed in the forest so that your guests will have the best natural experience possible.  All of the yurts (Pacific Yurts – Cottage Grove, Or.) and platform tents (Bechel – Milwaukie, Or.) were purchased locally and are of the highest quality available.  We actually watched one of our tents being hand stitched while we waited for it!  In addition, a very nice honeymoon cabin is included for the wedding couple.  The cabin includes queen bed, linens, pillows, towels, comforter, blanket, heat, and WIFI. Who needs a hotel and the city when you can have all of this?  See Looks Like Film Top 10 Outdoor Wedding Venues.

The 1500 square foot luxury wedding preparation suite will allow you and your wedding party the space needed to relax in comfort as you prepare before the wedding ceremony.  The wedding preparation suite includes a private bathroom and elegant furnishings for your complete enjoyment.

The guest bathroom facilities include individual locking ADA shower and bathroom units to ensure complete privacy and are cleaned routinely throughout each day.  See photos in the Photo Gallery.

Vernonia Springs is just far enough away from the city to get a full immersion in REAL nature, yet is only a 30-minute drive from Beaverton, Hillsboro and Portland.  Your out-of-town guests will enjoy a day trip to Cannon Beach (just one-hour) or they can cruise a bike on the famous Banks-Vernonia State Trail, which connects to Vernonia Springs.  The small town of Vernonia (population 2200) with its classic main street, is an easy bike ride down the trail.  Do a group ride with your guests the day before your wedding to relax, unwind, and reconnect with friends and family!  Other activities include hiking trails on the property, lawn games, strolling the forest farm vegetable and flower garden, walking through the perennial flower garden and fruit orchard (where the wedding ceremony will take place), spiral through the labyrinth for good luck, or just relax next to the spring fed lake.  Stub Stewart State Park is also just four miles up the bike trail for more hiking, mountain biking, frisbee golf and more.  Vernonia Golf Course is three miles down the highway.

Come enjoy the lake, pastures, springs, creeks, and more.  As you are hiking the property, keep your eyes open for all of the abundant wildlife and marvel at the natural features of the property.  You won’t be disappointed!

At night, relax and enjoy reconnecting with your friends and family around the campfire, while enjoying incredible stargazing and roasting S’mores over the campfire.

Our overnight wedding venue rental rate is $7,995 (11 am to 10 am).  Maximum of 100 wedding guests and 22 overnight guests.  Vernonia Springs is available May –  October and closed the remainder of the year (see Events Calendar page for current availability).  Vernonia Springs has a 4.9 rating on AirBnB, 4.9 rating on Facebook,  and a 5.0. rating on Yelp.
